Connections for a better tomorrow
Magnolia Place is a free, walk-in service located at Westfield Helensvale, where anyone experiencing challenges in their life such as domestic violence, isolation and homelessness can get the support they need in a calm, safe, judgement-free space.
We know that asking for help can be hard to do, so Magnolia Place provides an inclusive space for anyone who is feeling isolated and alone, to connect over a cup of tea or coffee and have a confidential conversation with an experienced, caring team member.
Visitors don't need an appointment and won't be asked to fill in forms, meet any eligibility criteria, or go on a waiting list. Our team meet each person where they are in their life. They listen, provide brief intervention, information, practical support, and work with them to connect them with support services and informal supports that can help.

A Shield for Safety
If you're feeling unsafe because you're experiencing domestic violence or abuse, our team will provide you with a StandbyU Shield to help you stay safe and connected.
I found safety and connection at Magnolia Place. They listened to me, and I felt seen and believed for the first time in a long time. They gave me a Shield for when I’m feeling unsafe, and they helped connect me with different services, so I can move forward and support my family. I’m even going to TAFE next year.
